There really is only one thing NOT to like about springtime. And other than the allergies that everyone seems to be getting this year, I have absolutely loved this spring! The weather has been so wonderful and Ammon has been in heaven with the 75°+. Matthew is outside probably half his day and he has no fear about going in bushes and wandering around. Digging in dirt, walking through rocks, pulling around 5-gallon jugs and pushing his "scooter" (what my mom calls it) and his shopping cart. Who would've known you could give a kid a jug and he'd be happy?! He loves the weather and it has been SO nice getting to spend so much time outside. What's even better? We get to leave the door open while he plays outside with Brooklyn and the puppies.

Springtime
Hints that it must be springtime:
Okay this one, not really. Brooklyn would chase this ball if there were nine feet of snow. It's a hint for us though, because we don't mind throwing it to her when the weather's nice. And we luck out having the church right across the street. Brooklyn gets so tired out that she runs immediately to the pool. She's either thinking about food, swim or playing ball. That is her life. I don't think that will ever change!
Uncle Nate and Aunt Hilary gave him such cute new clothes, complete with a fire truck shirt (Matthew kept looking in the mirror and just loved it. He loved the helicopter the best of course)
He put the puppy in here and he didn't like it too much since he juumped out every time. Don't worry though! Matthew picked him up by the neck and put him right back in. He tried Brooklyn next once the puppies weren't too fond of it anymore!
I decided that I would plant some flowers with him out in the front yard. Ammon's mom gave me some really pretty pink flowers that we've kept in the house since we got home from Utah. Matthew loves to smell them, so when we took them outside, there was nothing different. He has no idea what he's doing but it is so cute. My mom has a picture of my doing this exact thing when I was 18 months. Always copying Mom!
We got a centerpiece from Sloan's temple activity we planted too. I even picked up some wild flower seeds we planted in the empty spots. Matthew loved to water them.

Haha. And on this one, she pointed to Matthew and said 'Baby.' I said, "Matthew,' and she responded, 'Mah-mew!'
I am obsessed with him..... I love his cheeks.... and he is so sweet and cute.... love the jugs that is hilarious....
Chelsea,
We are so glad you got the clothes we got for him. We saw those shirts and just fell in love with them so we knew we had to get them for Matthew because no one would be as cute in them!!
He is so adorable!
