BACKSTREET is back. I got to see them TWICE in nine days! I can't tell you how excited I was to go again. This time, it was at Mandalay Bay BEACH on July 2nd. I first bought the Salt Lake tickets because they weren't coming to Vegas. Who doesn't go to Vegas really? I mean come on. So two weeks before Salt Lake, they added a Vegas show. Then, two days before, that's when I bought my tickets after I talked Mytae into going with me! What a great friend I do have to say. For not being a Backstreet fan, she was such a good sport and was so willing to go with me! We had some great talks and times to reminscinse about while we were together. We ate at Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay before the concert started and I think I had the best turkey burger I've ever had (okay, let me admit, the ONLY turkey burger I've ever had, but still, it was wonderful and a great change).
We sat at the bar and Mytae got carded and I didn't. All I ask is that I get carded ONCE! It's not like I have ever had alcohol but seriously, you would think that I could get carded! I am almost 25 now! We had these great Nutella shakes our waiter hooked us up with and it was a great start to an AMAZING night!

The Beach is OUTRAGEOUS! I have never been there before and I couldn't believe it! The best thing Vegas used to have for families was Wet' N Wild and since that left, there hasn't been much for us until I saw the Beach. It has everything, complete with tube rentals for the lazy river and the huge wave pool and even more because it has real sand with warmer water than can be found in California's beaches. PLUS it has a stage where you stand in the water getting to sing along. I couldn't have asked for a better environment or a better concert! What a fun summer activity that I will remember forever!

How hot is Nick really?! (hahahahaha Ammon is such a good sport for not ever caring about my age-old obsession. He never wants to go, let alone listen to their music, but he never says no when I ask to spend money on it! What a great husband!)
This concert was so different than Salt Lake, mostly because it was outside. In Salt Lake, they dressed in these ultra hot costumes that I'm sure made them lose 13.2 lbs during the two songs they sang to, but this was so much...more chill. They only changed three times, compared to the 6 they did in UT, and this time, they came out in board shorts complete with beach balls and water guns! We were extra close to the stage and I even ended up getting another water bottle. This time, it still had water in it though and was smashed from one of them squeezing it. I think it should now be a rule. WRITE YOUR NAME BEFORE you drink! Yeah...
I sure missed my mom this concert. I think it was the first ever BSB concert that she wasn't there for and I'm sure she would have loved it! The only thing better than going to a BSB concert is going with your mom who loves them too!

I went to a NSYNC concert once. I thought it was soooo cool at the time. What was I thinking though? I think I later learned the BSB did have better music.
We havent for sure picked a name yet. But we do like the name Avery. It really has been the only one we both agree on :) I sometimes feel like I felt when I was about 37 weeks with Lana. So yes I would love for the time to just fly by. Something for me? You are so sweet! I just found out I am supposed to have a c-section now (long story). I will need to get with you to put me at ease with it since you have experience in that field.
When do you move again? Cause we still need to get together before that happens!
