Carving Pumpkins

One of the best things about Halloween is getting to do everything that goes with it. Ammon and I both love to carve pumpkins and since he couldn't do much of anything Halloween-related last year with us, we had fun getting to do more together. Matthew loves the fall time because he gets to see pumpkins everywhere. When we got to the store, he wanted to ride in the cart with the pumpkin. He was so excited to pick out his own. We got home and he wasn't quite sure of the seeds or the the feel, but he had fun watching us do it nonetheless.

Matthew also got an obsession with skeletons this season. When my mom was putting out decorations earlier in the month, he picked up this skull. I didn't want him to be afraid since he had a rather sinister laugh going on so I told him he was funny. He asked me who is was and I told him his name was Frank. Months later, he still calls them that. He wanted his pumpkin to turn into Frank that day!
