Temple

The night after Chris got home, we decided to go to the temple since he hadn't been since the MTC almost two years ago. I have to say that the temple has by far become my favorite place to be. I can't pinpoint the exact reason, but the peacefulness is a huge reason. Actually, I think it is because in the temple, you can feel how much love Christ feels for you. Anyway, I LOVED going to the temple with my whole family. Gina couldn't be there because Amelia got sick, but my mom, dad, Sloan, Zane, Shaun, Chris, Ammon and me were all in a session.

I can't say how grateful I am for my mom and dad. They have been such great parents and they have taught us what is right from day one. I never remember them straying from the path, always teaching us the right way and to have the goal to return to our Heavenly Father. I have been reading President Hinckley's biography and there is a chapter in it that talks about how he and Marjorie raised their children. Just like President Hinckley (who is my absolute hero) had amazing parents to learn how to raise his family, I have had great ones as well. It is such a glorious day when your whole family can be in the temple together!

Chris is such a good-looking kid! And so grown up. I can't believe it.

Sloan is my best friend and is such a good example to me!

Shaun was by his lonesome. Funny picture. I think Shaun is one of the smartest people I've ever known. He so should teach and work for CES.
