Best Change to the Place You Live in 2009.
Two brand new places to live.
I can't help but to write more about moving. I don't think there is just ONE thing that I can say we changed in 2009. I can't even say what was the BEST thing that I changed. Maybe that was Matthew getting his very first own room last January when we moved to Henderson. I loved getting to decorate it and to set up his crib, a changing table, put his name on the wall, the works. It's a Mom-thing because Ammon didn't understand why I wanted to spend money on simple things like paint that would match the bedding. I also liked getting a house for Ammon, Matthew, Brooklyn and me. That was our first place with all of us. We'd lived in Utah, but the apartment was small and Matthew wasn't here yet. I also actually really liked the thought of moving to Kentucky. We'd be alone, and even though we wouldn't have Brooklyn here, we'd be here learning how to live by ourselves. That has been such a good thing for us. I'd have to say that was by far the best change for us this year.
Second Place: Our huge antique picture of the Sacred Grove that I got for Ammon for Christmas 2008. We hung it in both our houses last year and I LOVE it.
Honorable Mention: Having an end table. I didn't realize how much we would use that thing since we didn't have on in Henderson. And we have the light on every night.
