Christmas Eve

It was December 22nd and we decided to go to the mall in Louisville to do some last minute shopping (Ammon mostly). There, they have one of our favorite restaurants. We were so excited to eat there. Matthew's face here should've given us a hint of things to come. Not even 24 hours later, all three of us were sick. Matthew threw up, then Ammon had a bug and curled himself up on the couch. I got it soon after and we all threw up all day Christmas Eve. Mostly me. I literally have not felt that bad since I was pregnant. Ammon found me asleep by the toilet when he took Matthew out that day. So nevertheless, we got NOTHING done. I was supposed to cook all day (pies, stuffing and such) and literally could barely stand up without having to throw up. We aren't sure if it was food poisoning, a bug caught at church, or what, but we weren't too happy that it happened the time it did. Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the year! It sure wasn't this year. I did get to end the evening with talking to Chris all the way from Moldova. It wasn't long and it was the only time that we got to talk to him, but it was good to hear his voice. I can't believe he only has two months left! That is nuts.
BUT, it's Christmas Eve and what does that mean? Even if we're sick, we still get to open up a present. I wonder what it could be. Hmmm....let's see. PJs! Matthew just liked opening the box.
