16 months and...

Not quite walking. Not yet. But, what Matthew does do is push his new toy like crazy around the house! He loves it! (yes that is the Yankees game on in the background!) He is also... Loving the fact that he stuffs all of his toys into our little TV stand! I was laughing when I was cleaning up all his toys and found most of them stuffed in the shelf. You name it...books, cars, trucks, movies, decorations, pens and pencils...all back there. It was too funny. He is also:

• Saying uh-oh for everything. Drops everything and says it on cue.
• Says MMM-MMM-MMM whenever he puts something in his mouth (thanks Grandpa)
• Points at anything and loves to touch trees, leaves, bushes, flowers...(thank you Grandma)
• Likes his pumpkin he picked out at the pumpkin patch and likes to carry it around.
• Leads any music he hears, whether that is in church, home, store.
• Started eating with his forks and spoons and now only wants to eat what is on them. He'll put one bean, one piece of cheese, etc on the spoon and try to get it in his mouth. It ends up taking him five times longer to eat because he will literally try to eat one bean four or five times before he finally realizes he can just stick three in and eat them much faster.
• Loves popsicles and that has become his favorite word and says "OH" with a huge smile on his face whenever we ask him if he wants one.
• I think he is only down to one nap a day now ever since getting back from Vegas. I'm kind of sad!
• If I say his name or no in that "mom tone," he'll whine. Kind of. He will like open his mouth and yell and look around to see if someone will pay attention to him. I really can't explain. It's kind of hilarious.
• Now only likes to play with his toys on his knees. So adorable.
• Also, six teeth, still size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes. But his foot is now 5-6 instead of 4-5! We're growing! A little at a time, but still growing none the less!

Anyway. I'm hoping he will start walking by 18 month update! Other than that, he is so good and I love being home with him! He still loves Ammon to death and still loves to follow me around the house, but he is getting so old! I can't believe it!
