The 4th of July this year was a blast. It made me think so much of last year's when Matthew was only a few weeks old. I was so dead tired that I barely wanted to eat, couldn't swim and slept through fireworks! We got to go to the lake on the 3rd and Matthew was so great. It was his first lake trip and he pretty much slept the whole time! I went to go buy him a life jacket and the only one they had that was even kind of his size will fit him until he is 50 lbs! Shaun, Gina, Amelia, Sloan, Gavin, Reese, and my mom and dad were all able to go and we had a lot of fun!
4th of July...since Sloan and Zane and the kids all went up to Cedar, Shaun and Gina and Amelia came over to my mom and dad's. My mom is such a good cook and we ad a great BBQ. Usually, Ammon, Matthew and I match on 4th of July but since Ammon wasn't there, it was just the two of us. We got to watch fireworks and watch Independence Day. How lucky are we that we live in the USA?! Even though we have a retard as the president, we have millions of YOUNG people willing to sacrifice their lives for our country. It may seem like I am ungrateful sometimes when I complain about Ammon and the military, but we are so blessed to have people who are willing to stay away from their families for just the plain jane sitting at home.

Brooklyn couldn't find her ball while swimming so a leaf had to do.
