2009 World Series Champs!

After nine years of waiting, I am very proud to say that I was SO EXCITED last night to watch the Yankees take the World Series title for 2009! They really were a better team than the Phillies and it was cool getting to see the "core four" getting their fifth championship (Way to go Jeter, Posada, Rivera, Pettitte). A-Rod, Teixeira, Sabathia, Burnett and others got their first and it was hilarious to hear what Damon said last night about winning with the Red Sox and now with the Yankees. He said that it is a very rare thing that you win from both teams. I'm sure he is way happy he is now with the better team! After years and years, tons of money and plenty of shirts, screams and shouts at the TV, it finally paid off last night! Can't wait for next year! GO YANKS!

Ammon has always liked Forrest Gump so when he first saw me in January 2005 and approached me to ask if the seat next to me was taken, he knew it was fate when I told him he could sit there if he wanted. The rest is history. He later went to Iraq, the closest thing he could get to Viet-nAm, and we wrote the entire 18 months. When he got back, we saw each other everyday and he proposed December 2006. We were married in Las Vegas the next May and Matthew was born June 17, 2008.

After being told we would move to North Carolina and Georgia all sometime this year, both more than once, we are still living in Las Vegas awaiting the next orders two weeks before we should be there!
