Happy 27th Ammon!

Since Ammon was still in cycle during his birthday, it wasn't much of a celebration for him. He worked until 10 the Friday before his birthday (he turned 27 on the 16th) and worked a 24-hour shift the day before. He was tired that day when he finally got home at 6:30 am and couldn't even go to church with us because of more meetings. I decided to give Ammon a TEXAS BIRTHDAY this year. Probably our most favorite places to eat is Texas Road House and even those plans fell through, it was supposed to start out with that. I bought us plane tickets to go to Austin, Texas! We have always talked about Texas and how much we want to go to Austin. I watch all the HGTV shows about it and everyone always talks to good about it. I tied every one of his presents into Texas by making tags for all of them (the tags all tied into Texas and the gift inside somehow). Some were a stretch, but I thought they turned out pretty good. He even got his Texas Cinnamon Rolls...

Needless to say, we aren't going to be able to celebrate until we actually get to go to Texas, but I hope he had a good day anyway. We got to spend a little bit of time together that day after he was able to sleep, so that was the best part about it. I can't believe how fast time flies! We're getting older and older!
