Every year in September, my mom's cousin Tina comes to town with her husband Jeff for a conference his work holds at the MGM. We have been able to get together with them the last few years and since I missed it last year, it was nice to get to see them this time. They are always so nice to us, and since Jeff had his experience with the military, he and Ammon were able to talk and compare crazy stories about drill sergeants. We had my dad's favorite, steak of course, and all the things to go along with it. What made it nice this time was that we had my uncle James and Regina come over and it was weird for us to be around my mom's side of the family instead of my dad's. That is one thing about my mom that we don't know too well. We don't and haven't gotten to see and get to know her family like we have my dad's side. This was a nice night and Matthew always loves to get to see new people who give him more attention. Plus, he loves to play with his cousins.(again, lost camera, so borrowed pictures. They acctually came again a few nights later and we got to talk some more since neither Chris or Ammon could be there for this FHE. Another night of work for both of them.)
