Ammon's Family

It was so nice to get to see Ammon's family again. Ammon got to fly into Salt Lake the day after graduation and we went right on up to stay with his mom in their wonderful finished bedroom in their basement. Ammon's flight was over two hours late and Matthew got sick that weekend (with what, we still aren't sure) and so it was nice getting to New Haven-Roy area when we did. We didn't get to stay long and actually couldn't even go to church since it was the whole temple dedication thing (you couldn't go without a ticket), but it was nice letting Matthew visit the other side of the family. We hadn't seen them since last Christmas! We got to spend time with his mom, her husband, Bill, Hailey, Patrick, Nate, his girlfriend Hillary, Tanisha, and her husband Bryan on Sunday. It was so nice of everyone to go all the way up there to see Ammon and Matthew. Matthew LOVED his grandparents. LOVED his grandmum and LOVED his grandpa! I couldn't believe how well he did with them! I was so relieved, especially since he wasn't feeling so hot.
We went to Ruth's Diner (I saw it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) with Ammon's dad, brother Nate, and cousin Adam.
Matthew, Ammon, Patrick, Moya, Hailey, Bill and Nate

He loved being outside with his grandmum and riding the tractor, touching the plants, seeing horses, and watching the airline tower!

All the boys at dinner (the dorkiness must run in the family I guess! Look at Nate...!)

He loved getting fed by Grandpa (especially the dessert!)

We left at about midnight so Ammon could get to Vegas to see Brooklyn before he had to fly back to go to work for a few hours a day. We thought we could make it until we had to stop in Beaver and sleep. We ended up sleeping three hours and getting home just in time for Ammon to spend a little bit of time with our crazy daughter before he headed back home. NEXT STOP? AUSTIN HERE WE COME! :)
