Fall means...

...doing things like raking leaves, wearing sweaters and drinking apple cider. But since we live in Vegas where fall means nothing really ever changes at all, we have to do other things that make it seem like the season actually transitioned. My mom and dad have a great apple tree in their backyard that I remember always picking with Chris when we were young. We had the best time in our yard out back and I love that Matthew gets to be outside all day long, rain or shine, freaking hot or still too hot even when we have a "cold spell." He had a great time getting all the apples and putting them in his shopping cart. Maybe when Christmas hits and we can finally play in the leaves, he'll like fall that much more. But for now, he's enjoying all the benefits the new season can bring (including apple pie in a bag).
