Okay so this isn't the picture that Ammon was hoping for when he asked me to come and be a spy to take pictures of him picking up the privates. He ended up getting a new set of recruits, 60 of them, today instead of Friday, and I was there, hoping to see him yelling as he slammed his fists against the windows of the bus as each new private scurried as if it was a bug going to be squashed quickly. I was just as disappointed. BUT, there wasn't much I could do since I was driving around and around...his captain, 1 sgt...everyone was there and I knew I wasn't supposed to be there.Regardless, here are some of his privates. Back to the 4 am to 10 pm schedule...the good thing is...he got a new drill sergeant in his platoon, so we are positive for a better cycle this time. He is happy with the change (for now) and so, I guess I am happier too. He hates being a drill sergeant though. He really does. The option came up for us to extend, and for him to go to Ft. Sill in Oklahoma and he said THERE IS NO WAY.
(for the record, I'm not a fan of this whole drill sergeant lifestyle either. It's not an easy thing to get used to. I just keep thinking...only ten more years 'til retirement...only ten more years 'til retirement...)

So when does he sleep? Holy crap. And yes dont worry Lana knows that she already has a prearranged marriage set up. We actually started watching the 1st season again, but this time with her. We point to the screen and say "Lana that is who you are named after!"
